Senior Specialist Value Analysis (m/f/d)

Areas of responsibilities:

 

  • Support Product Management, Industrial Design and Engineering teams in Germany with implementing ‘Design to Cost’ and ‘Engineer to Cost’ concepts on new stroller projects in development phase.
  • Lead Value Analysis and Value Engineering projects with production and development teams in China from ideation to implementation stage on Cybex portfolio. 
  • Drive parts/function and cost/function optimization.
  • Develop modular portfolio for sharing parts across product lines with support from Engineering team.
  • Explore new cost effective technologies with procurement teams.
  • Develop and maintain value analysis database on product portfolio.


Profile of Qualifications:

 

  • Must have a minimum degree in Engineering (industrial/mechanical/automotive). 
  • Additional education in Business administration preferred. 
  • Additional certifications related to VAVE is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Value Abalysis/Value Engineering and cost optimization.
  • Strong managerial skills in creating and presenting Value Engineering projects.
  • Previous experience in B2C consumer goods manufacturing sector desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated level-headedness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in English, with proficiency in German as a plus.
