(Lead) Solution BTP and Integration Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and Integration Architect to design, develop, and implement and operate innovative cloud-based solutions. This role is crucial in architecting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow, and optimizing business processes. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP BTP services, cloud integration technologies, and hands-on experience in designing hybrid landscapes.

 

Area of Responsibilities:

 

  • Solution Design and Architecture:
    • Design and architect SAP BTP-based solutions, including application development, integration, and extensions for SAP cloud and on-premise systems.
    • Architect and implement cloud-native services on SAP BTP for application extensions, custom applications, and workflows.
  • Cloud Integration Implementation:
    • Lead the implementation of cloud integration strategies using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) and other BTP services.
    • Design and develop APIs and microservices for connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, utilizing SAP API Management and other middleware platforms.
  • Integration Expertise:
    • Provide expert guidance on integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and non-SAP systems using various integration methodologies and tools.
    • Ensure compliance with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
    • Lead and guide the development team in delivering BTP-based solutions and integrations, providing technical direction and support.
  • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
    • Manage and optimize SAP integrations, including performance tuning, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex integration landscapes.
    • Apply excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot integration issues in real-time scenarios.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance standards are adhered to within integration and cloud solutions.

 

Profile of Qualifications:

 

  • 8-12 years of experience in SAP BTP services and cloud integration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) and other BTP services.
  • Strong knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData) and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in developing APIs, microservices, and middleware platforms.
  • Proven experience in integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and non-SAP systems.
  • Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement cloud-native services on SAP BTP.
  • Experience in architecting hybrid landscapes and ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Experience in performance tuning, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex integration landscapes.
  • In-depth knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance standards in cloud and integration solutions.
  • Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud and integration landscapes, applying them to enhance SAP BTP solutions.
