Director Demand Planning (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the Demand Planning Team and drive the growth of the function globally
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and formulate and implement improvement processes and policies; oversee company support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service level in demand planning to a first-class level
  • Develop long-term operational strategies for DP, working closely with senior management to meet company objectives
  • Take Ownership for design and generation of weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports and improve the planning accuracy
  • Work closely with the Supply Planning/MSL team to identify and resolve changes in the forecast and their impact on the supply chain
  • Take Ownership for continuous improvement of forecasting techniques, methods and approaches, standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
  • Identify and drive key demand planning & inventory processes, and manage stock issues
  • Take Ownership for Service Level in assigned sales areas while maintaining a high stock turnrate
  • Lead S&OP processes, meetings and decisions globally together with company senior management
  • Take ownership and drive assigned projects and improvement initiatives


Your profile of qualification:

 

  • Profound work experience and forecasting experience preferably within a FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning process and strong analytical abilities
  • Preferably SAP-experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office required, intermediate MS Excel required, advanced Excel helpful; experience with a forecast modeling tool preferred; SAP experience helpful
  • Demand planning solutions expertise
  • Fluent English skills
