Your seat to fill:

 

  • Developing concept of our market and trend-oriented collections, as well as permanent further development of the collection based on current trends and taking our DNA into account
  • Trend research, international market analysis as well as evaluation and conversion into commercially successful products
  • Design drafts, material and color selection, development of prints
  • Close cooperation with product management and the quality team during the entire product development process, from design to production
  • Creation of collection documents and presentations at relevant meetings
  • Travel within Europe and Asia to relevant trade fairs, store checks and supplier visits

 

Your stroll to CYBEX:

 

  • Degree in Fashion Design or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience as a Fashion Designer preferably within lifestyle, sports, or juvenile product industries
  • Designing collections from initial concept to market-ready product. Creating mood boards, color concepts and trend themes. Developing collections in line with brand identity, target group and budget supported by strong storytelling and visual presentation skills.
  • Possesses a high level of creativity, a strong sense of aesthetics, curiosity, and originality while being able to interpret and respect the Cybex brand DNA in every design decision
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Confident in creating hand-drawn and digital sketches/visuals as well as technical drawings. Advanced knowledge of pattern construction is a must
  • Monitoring trends (trade fairs, social media, street styles, competitor analysis) Translating trends into relevant concepts for the own brand/target group
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with Product Management, Industrial Design, Quality, and Project Management in developing cohesive, manufacturable products
  • Ability to create detailed technical specifications, ensuring designs can be adapted efficiently for mass production while maintaining aesthetic integrity
  • Experience in sourcing and evaluating fabrics, trims, and accessories through supplier visits and trade shows, with a focus on quality, cost, and production feasibility
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
