Head of Accounting & General Ledger Cybex Group (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

  • Leading of General Ledger Team
  • Coordinate and prepare the individual financial statements for month-end and year-end of the EMEA entities (according to IFRS and HGB) and communication with the financial auditors
  • Optimization of internal processes within Finance Department and the interfaces to other department
  • Supporting Accounting projects
  • Coordinate and prepare group reporting and the consolidation process within the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and HGB for month-end and year-end of EMEA region
  • Reconciling, analyzing and interpreting of financial statements and its GL accounts to ensure quality in accounting
  • Acting as accounting business partner in the organization for the proper accounting treatment of new business related topics
  • Coordinate and support external audits (e.g. half year/year-end Financial statements)
  • Coordinate and support ad-hoc reporting according to management requests

 

Your qualification:

  • Completed (university) studies in the field of economics or similar or a comparable qualification (e.g. accountant)
  • Profound knowledge of accounting according to HGB / IFRS
  • Functional and relevant technical and managerial experience in finance
  • Practical experience in the standardization and digitization of GL processes
  • Good knowledge of project management, ideally also in the management of international and interdisciplinary projects
  • Very good knowledge of SAP
  • Attitude towards continuous improvement as well as analytical and structured thinking
  • A high degree of independence, diligence and quality awareness
  • Very good knowledge of German, English and the ability to work in an international team
