Your seat to fill:
- Take full ownership of complex IP matters and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to business stakeholders across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on intellectual property law — particularly trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documents, ensuring robust protection of IP rights and alignment with business objectives
- Manage and further develop our global trademark portfolio, coordinating filings, renewals, oppositions, and related proceedings in close collaboration with external counsel and international partners
- Enforce and defend our intellectual property rights, including overseeing and conducting litigation proceedings in Germany where required
- Work closely with colleagues within the EMEA Legal Team and cross-functional departments such as Brand, Product, Marketing, and Sales on multi-jurisdictional and cross-functional projects
Your stroll to CYBEX:
- Fully qualified lawyer, admitted to the German bar
- Solid professional experience in intellectual property law, with strong expertise in trademark and copyright matters
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an international business environment
- Experience in IP enforcement and litigation in Germany is highly desirable
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Business-oriented mindset combined with strong analytical skills and a pragmatic, solution-driven approach
- Self-driven and structured working style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Team player with strong communication skills and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders
