Manager Crash Test (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and oversee the crash analysis team, managing all crash test activities while ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards
  • Support the team in the analysis of crash test results and in the  development of simple physical models
  • Derive technical crash requirements from new child seat product specifications and estimate the crash performance potential
  • Define due diligence test cases for child restraint systems beyond the required standard
  • Coordinate resources for crash testing and analysis across all car seat projects
  • Plan and supervise crash tests for car seats in both internal and external labs, from pre-development until homologation testing in accordance with UN R129
  • Assess change requests on existing products from a crash performance and homologation perspective
  • Support child safety research initiatives and lobbying projects
  • Address compliance and quality issues related to car seat safety

 
Your profile of qualifications:

 

  • Completed technical studies with a degree in physics, engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably with leadership experience
  • Expert knowledge of occupant protection, restraint systems, and vehicle crashworthiness
  • Experience in the field of child safety is preferred
  • Skilled in biomechanical analysis of crash dummy kinematics and measurement data to assess the injury risks to children
  • Structured, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Assertiveness and excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong technical understanding and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in both German and English, with strong communication skills in both languages
