Your seat to fill:
- Perform preliminary examinations and evaluations of non-conforming products and quality issues
- Conduct supplier audits and potential analyses based on relevant industry standards
- Monitor supplier quality performance and manage supplier rating processes
- Initiate, request, and track supplier problem-solving activities and corrective action processes
- Take ownership of implementing and following up on sustainable corrective actions at supplier level
- Drive the continuous improvement and development of suppliers regarding quality standards and processes
- Ensure cost allocation and recovery for supplier-related quality issues
- Train suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality methods and support the execution of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PPS, and QRQC
- Coach and promote a strong problem-solving mindset among direct reports, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support Supplier Quality Inspectors on-site and collaborate closely on quality-related topics
- Act as an interface to suppliers and external service providers to establish and manage mutually agreed quality expectations
- Prepare and present structured quality reports and management summaries for internal stakeholders and top management
- Support additional quality-related initiatives and projects in line with business and operational requirements
Your stroll to CYBEX:
- Successfully completed studies in Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Management, or Manufacturing Quality, ideally within consumer goods, juvenile products, automotive, or related industries
- Strong expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PPS, QRQC, or similar approaches
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality development initiatives
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes
- Good knowledge of industry-relevant standards and methodologies such as VDA, IATF, AIAG, and ISO 19011
- Certification as VDA 6.3 Auditor (2nd party) or comparable qualification is considered a strong advantage
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including lateral leadership without direct disciplinary responsibility
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style with the ability to simplify complex situations into actionable solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including reporting to senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with assertiveness and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent business English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel to suppliers and production sites
