Packaging Designer (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

 

 

  • Collaborating with Packaging Engineers and Graphic Designers based in Bayreuth and China to develop a sustainable packaging portfolio for our products.
  • Packaging optimization and new packaging development within the framework of the associated internal processes, working cross-functionally with marketing, design, purchasing, logistics and factory.
  • Ensuring the execution of new packaging projects as part of our sustainability strategy.
  • Identification of optimization potentials and ownership of projects for the further development of  consumer packaging
  • Evaluate and screen consumer and market packaging trends, technologies and materials keeping in mind customer, product, regulatory, economical, business, and/or technical requirements.
  • Monitoring of the responsible processes regarding costs, service, quality, and compliance within Projects

 

 

Your profile of qualification

 

 

  • Experience in the field of packaging development
  • Knowledge in the field of sustainable packaging
  • Passionate and experienced leader and team player
  • Can-Do mentality: positive, proactive, solution-oriented
  • Excellent project management skills: stay focused, prioritize, and stay organized
  • Experience in working as an interface function in an international matrix organization
  • Solid knowledge of Artios CAD, Esko Studio, Cape Pack and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
