Your seat to fill:

• Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for the EMEA sub-group in accordance with IFRS and HGB, including coordination with external auditors
• Perform analytical reviews of consolidated financials (P&L, balance sheet, and trend analyses) and collaborate closely with local entities to ensure data accuracy and transparency
• Prepare monthly group reporting for the EMEA sub-group, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations within EMEA and with the Goodbaby Group, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, working closely with Group Finance to implement and maintain IFRS standards across EMEA entities
• Conduct impairment testing (e.g. goodwill under IFRS and financial investments under HGB)
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls, with a focus on efficiency, automation, and SAP S/4HANA integration
• Support M&A activities from an accounting perspective, including purchase price allocation and integration into group reporting
• Harmonize accounting practices across entities and countries, ensuring consistency, transparency, and adherence to group Standards

Your stroll to CYBEX:

• Relevant professional experience in Group Accounting or Participation Controlling is essential; a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong experience in preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
• Proven track record in working with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience in group reporting and intercompany reconciliations, ideally within EMEA structures and in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize and further digitalize financial processes
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and a good understanding of integrating accounting process into IT landscapes
• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with LucaNet and/or automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) is a plus
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
