Senior Analyst Crash Test (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:
 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive crash test plans for child restraint systems, based on product specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Evaluate and analyze crash test results using standardized methods and derive potential improvement areas on the child restraint system
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant child seat standards from concept phase to certification
  • Support the simulation experts with the analysis and interpretation of simulation results
  • Develop simple test methods for the judgement of child restraint system components on a modular level and support on preparing test specimens
  • Evaluate change requests on existing products from child safety and certification side
  • Manage the type approval of child restraint systems with external service providers
  • Stay updated with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and testing methodologies related to crash testing

 

Your profile of qualification:
 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, physics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in crash testing, vehicle safety, or related areas desirable
  • In depth knowledge of crash test methodologies, procedures, and relevant regulations favorable
  • Proficiency in using crash test analysis software and data acquisition systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in German and English to convey technical information and present findings to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adherence to safety protocols and a strong commitment to workplace safety
