Senior Manager Enterprise Architecture (m/f/d)

Areas of Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define technical requirements, and deliverables, and assist in setting expectations within the business.
- Defining and updating of the overall technology vision and strategy, helping to ensure its progress within the Product Development roadmap.
- Hands-on creation and presentation of Architecture Design Documents that capture non-functional requirements from the perspective of business, software, data, and infrastructure architectures.
- Review all architecture documents created by your team to ensure completeness in vision and accounting for the competing concerns of the technology strategy, non-functional requirements, customer needs, and product roadmap.
- Mentoring and developing engineering staff in architectural concerns.
- Keep current on technical advances in the industry, including microservices, distributed systems, cloud, deployment and delivery automation, machine learning.
- Accountable for the design, ease of evolution, quality of the systems, performance, scaling, and availability characteristics of the systems.
- Supports and reinforces our development process with the architecture and product management teams, acting as a champion for high-quality implementations, and helping communicate and clarify our processes.
- Perform code and design reviews of components created by engineers and architects.
- Drives the architectural and service governance program (guardrails).
- May occasionally need to perform hands-on development of interfaces and frameworks for the engineering team to further implement.
- Work with product management, business stakeholders, and other engineering leaders to help define mid-term, and long-term roadmaps and shape business directions; drive the non-functional requirements of the product.
- Meet occasionally with enterprise customers in support of our largest deals, create presentations for customers representing our technology current and future state, provide estimates and guide scoping for extensive mission-critical system needs, and mentor the team to do so.

- Obsesses about creating and maintaining useful reference architecture standards.
- Develops relationships with vendors and business partners.
- Acts as a consultant to IT and business leaders.
- Will have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and will have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development and performance.
