Senior Manager International Sales APAC (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the 3-year business plan for APAC (primary focus on South East Asia) in collaboration with key stakeholders. Prepare and drive country specific commercial plans to unlock the full market potential in APAC (primary focus on South East Asia)
  • Closely manage the existing distributors and provide hands on guidance and support to meet brand standards and untap all business opportunities. 
  • Evaluate existing distributors against the Criteria Checklist and then propose and execute potential partner changes where it is necessary. In parallel, seek and appoint new partners in new territories in close collaboration with Cybex management
  • Proactively propose new market relevant initiatives to elevate brand awareness and maximize retail sell-out. Formulate sales tools and programs in line with Cybex corporate strategy 
  • Develop and implement sales forecast, budgets, and internal & external targets on a timely manner
  • Provide weekly business progress report and monthly market and competitor intelligence report to line manager
  • Work closely with the cross functional team to ensure necessary tools and support are granted for exceeding expectations 


Your profile of qualification:

  • Successfully completed a university degree in Business Administration or similar, preferably MBA degree with profound work experience, preferably in the Juvenile industry or Fashion & Lifestyle
  • Proven track record of managing business operations in the APAC region with experience in product importation and certification
  • Solid strategic mindset and analytical skills with Excellent communication and negotiation skills with in-depth cultural understanding of Asian culture 
  • Proven track record of managing, developing and changing 3-parties (mainly distributors and retailers)
  • Widespread knowledge of the APAC market (key players, distribution channels). Exposure to secondary channels (i.e. hypermarket and supermarket) is a plus  
  • Fluency in English (Asian language is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 45%) and willing to relocate to our European Head Quarters, Bayreuth
