Senior Specialist Packaging Engineering (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products, ensuring they meet functional, cost, and sustainability requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure packaging solutions meet product and customer needs
  • Conduct packaging assessments to identify opportunities for improvement in cost, sustainability, and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging packaging technologies, and make recommendations for their application to the company's products
  • Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and best practices
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring packaging meets applicable regulations and standards
  • Provide technical support and training to internal and external stakeholders on packaging-related topics

 

Your profile of qualification:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in packaging engineering, with a focus on consumer goods 
  • Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, paper technology, and testing methods
  • Experience in project management, including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
  • Experience with sustainable packaging design and circular economy principles
  • Profound knowledge of Artios CAD, Cape Pack (or similar) programs 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
