Senior Textile Technician (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibilities:

Development of new workmanship techniques in coordination with Design and Production
Support of production by optimizing processes – also on-site in the production facility
Preparation of quotation documents
Creation of quality handbooks (workmanship)
Coordination of prototypes with external production partners and internal development department, as well as optimizing in regards to processing and fit
Creation of technical production documents (industrialization of prototypes, parts lists, fits)
Determining standard times based on timing and planned times
Checking, correcting and commenting prototypes in regards to their fit and workmanship
Communication with suppliers
Creation of technical drawings and documentation

Your profile of qualification:

Successfully completed studies or apprenticeship in clothing technology or equivalent qualification
Gained first professional experience in a similar position in regards to workmanship, materials, fits and cutting techniques
Profound knowledge of a common CAD program (preferably Gerber)
Several years of experience in designing, optimizing and developing all processes
Good EDP knowledge (MS Office, Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw)
Structured way of working, organizational skills and assertiveness
Team spirit and flexibility
Successfully completed REFA training (time recording system)
Excellent communication skills
High readiness to travel (regular travel for several weeks in our production facilities)
Fluency in English
