Areas of Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement new technical solutions that meet the evolving needs of the product
  • Work in partnership with the design team to develop and refine patterns for new products, ensuring that the designs are feasible for production while meeting aesthetic and functional requirements
  • Conduct thorough inspections and verification processes on production patterns, ensuring they align with the original design specifications and meet quality standards
  • Integrate and enforce relevant technical standards and regulations into the product development process to ensure compliance and product safety
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation that outlines development and production requirements, including detailed specifications, material lists, and production procedures
  • Provide technical assistance during the product development phase, including testing of prototypes and development samples, to ensure they meet design and performance criteria
  • Oversee and monitor the production process in the manufacturing facilities, ensuring that products are produced according to the established specifications and quality standards


Your Qualification:

 

  • Successfully completed studies or an apprenticeship in Clothing Technology, Pattern Construction, Textile design / engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in a comparable position within the clothing or textile industry, preferably involving technical product development or pattern making
  • Expertise in developing patterns using CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, or similar systems
  • Strong technical understanding of garment construction and production processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is a plus and would be highly advantageous.
