Areas of responsibilities

 

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws at both national and international level.
  • Oversee a team of 4 with Training, coaching and guidance in customs-related topics and procedures
  • Preparing and accompanying audits by the customs administration
  • As a direct contact person, you will assume responsibility for operational customs matters, process enquiries, solve problems and support internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, purchasing and logistics).
  • In day-to-day business, you will be responsible for technical planning and organization. (e.g. issuing instructions for import customs clearance to service providers and preparing and monitoring export declarations)
  • Part of your area of responsibility is advising and coordinating on all customs law issues (complex and special legal issues such as opening new warehouse locations, E2E customs processes, R&D with regard to customs value relevance and licences) 
  • You are responsible for the authorization management of the Cybex Group, including authorization requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customs-related projects and initiatives, contributing your expertise to achieve project goals

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in customs documentation
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in using SAP & AEB
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of customs-related topics
  • Fluent in German, good knowledge of English
