Specialist Home & More – South and Eastern Europe
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Home & More Specialist to lead and accelerate our brand presence across South and Eastern Europe (SEE), covering the following markets: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Greece, and Cyprus. This is a key regional role that will shape the strategic and operational development of the Home and emerging categories, drive sell-out initiatives, elevate retail execution, and enhance in-store training and engagement across markets. The successful candidate will work closely with local sales and marketing teams, regional leadership, and headquarters to establish CYBEX as a category leader in the region.
Area of responsibilities:
- Category Leadership: Define and drive the growth strategy for Home and emerging categories across SEE in alignment with HQ directives.
- Sell-Out Activation: Lead sell-out initiatives, delivering insights and executional excellence to retail partners and internal teams.
- Training & Enablement: Conduct product and sales training for retail staff, focusing on category expertise, market trends, and high-impact sales techniques.
- Retail Excellence: Identify and scale best-in-class in-store execution practices in collaboration with local sales, marketing, and retail architecture teams.
- Field Force Development: Support and upskill local sales teams through structured, ongoing training programs—ensuring a high level of expertise in both products and market dynamics.
- Market Strategy & Analysis: Analyze competitive positioning, consumer behavior, and market trends to recommend winning strategies tailored to each country.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive commercial initiatives in partnership with General Management, Sales Heads, Marketing Managers, and HQ Category Leads.
- Influencer & Media Activation: Identify key parenting influencers and media partners in collaboration with local marketing to amplify category relevance.
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a key regional partner to the SEE General Manager, Head of Sales and Marketing, and global Home & More leadership to elevate the brand’s footprint and performance in the region.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in total sales of Home and More categories
- Expansion in number of active retail doors
- Retail staff training completion and effectiveness
- Quality of in-store execution and customer engagement
Profile of qualification:
- Solid experience in the juvenile industry, ideally with Home and related product categories (brand/manufacturer/retail experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roles with a proven sales track record
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Results-oriented and entrepreneurial, capable of building and defending new market positions in competitive environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and cultures
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of one or more SEE languages is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
