Areas of Responsibilities


  • Work out a comprehensive market strategy growth plan by defining a sales and marketing strategy 
  • Establish, oversee and execue sales and marketing programs and activities to implement the overall business strategy and objectives set by the country manager
  • Lead the Norwegian Sales and Marketing Team to maximise sales growth and visibility in Norway
  • Develop and maintain long-standing profitable business relationships with our key accounts and ensure constant sales expansion
  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained in skills, product & company knowledge, procedures, standards and systems
  • Monitor and achieve agreed turnover targets incl. regular reporting
  • Maintain the Norwegian sales and marketing forecast and track the budget
  • Identify marketing opportunities and roll out marketing initiatives with a key focus on maximizing sales potential and brand recognition
  • Provide recommendations to the regional & global marketing team on special programs and initiatives designed for the Norwegian market to better position the brand and the products
  • Lead, control and direct all business development activities
  • Identify new business opportunities within the country to further position the relevant brands in the Norwegian market and maintain existing business activities
  • Ensure compliance in all business transaction with local law and regulations

Required Education / Qualification


  • University studies of Business Administration, preferably MBA
  • Related Work experience, prefarably in the area of FMCG, Sports or fashion industries
  • Experience in Key Account Management in the Norwegian market
  • Experience in setting up new operations and developing structures
  • Fluent in Norwegian and Business English. Danish or Swedish in addition would be advantageous
  • Extensive sales know-how and proven track record working within the Scandinavian market
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and awareness of juvenile retail, fashion, customer demand and competitor activity within the zone
  • Experience of increasing turnover and profitability as well as successful management of P&Ls, budgets and sales growth 
  • Knowledge of operating standards and processes, with a "can do" approach
  • Leadership experience and ability to promote a high-performance culture which demonstrates a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Proactive and highly creative
