Working Student Value Analysis (m/f/d)

Your seat to fill:

 

  • You support VAVE and Engineering teams with “Design-to-Cost” and “Engineer-to-Cost” activities for ongoing projects.
  • You assist in VAVE analyses, cost breakdowns, and benchmarking for parts, assemblies, and product lines.
  • You collaborate with production and development teams (Germany & China) during implementation of VAVE ideas.
  • You support part/function cost optimization through data analysis, idea generation, and technical comparisons.
  • You explore new cost-effective materials, components, and technologies together with Procurement and Engineering.
  • You maintain and update the VAVE database, documentation, and reporting for the product portfolio.

 

Your stroll to CYBEX:

 

  • You are enrolled in bachelor or master studies in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field of study.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy working with data and technical comparisons.
  • You have basic understanding of cost engineering or value analysis principles and are motivated to learn more.
  • You are detail-oriented and enjoy working on cross-functional topics across procurement and engineering.
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and are comfortable working with databases and are eager to use AI tools.
  • You are able to communicate effectively with strong written and oral communication skills in English.

 

This position is at our office in Bayreuth.
